A major new work for Violin and Double Bass was presented by Frank Proto at the 2006 Hawaiian Contrabass Festival. Together with Darel Stark, associate principal violin of the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra, the Duo No. 2 for Violin and Double Bass was performed in public for the first time.
