The Preludes to Gershwin's I Loves you Porgy and Fascinating Rhythm are companion pieces to Proto's Sketches of Gershwin. They were written for Eddie Daniels who performed the world premiere on July 6, 2006 at the Salt Lake City Jazz Festival with Frank Proto conducting the Utah Symphony Orchestra.
